Emeritus Bishop J.C. Humper has assured elders of the SLPP that there is good in store for them but that it should be chased with caution.
He warned: “Now that God has answered our prayer SLPP should not be spoiling SLPP.
He was yesterday addressing the Elders Council at the Wallace-Johnson Street party headquarters .
He appealed for patience among member, stressing that “now that the party is in power that the real work of putting the country ahead has begun…”
The Bishop said the Council should realize that he had sacrificed a United Nations job for the love of his country. Finally he called for togetherness although he noted that there are bad members who are attempting to spoil the party
