Total Sierra Leone, one of Sierra Leone’s leading oil and gas companies, has yesterday unveiled their last lucky lubricant winners at the Grafton Total Fuel Station, Grafton Regent Road.
Welcoming guests to the ceremony, Mr. Ismalia Conteh, Network Manager, Total Sierra Leone, noted that Total Sierra Leone is ending their 2018 November and December promotion by offering another Keke and motorcycle and many more consolation prizes to the lucky winners.
He noted that they have decided to include the Awango lights as consolation prizes to 45 winners, due to the fact that recent discoveries have shown that the African continent remains the darkest in the world. Their shift from principally oil and gas to solar energy is to meet the energy needs of their customers.
Managing Director Total Sierra Leone, Madam Rose, disclosed that they are wrapping up the 1st Phase of the 2018 lubricants promotions, by giving the prizes to the lucky winners for the entire nation to know that Total Sierra Leone means what it says.
The MD stated that Total lubricants have been consistently gaining grounds in the Sierra Leonean market due to its exceptional qualities.
The promotion, Madam MD noted, is not only to celebrate the upward trend of Total lubricants in terms of volume but to also say ‘thank you’ to their numerous customers who have been patronizing them.
‘’Our presence in the Sierra Leonean market is not only to do business but to give back to the country what we are obtaining from our activities through our sustainable development program, young dealership scheme and, today, to give people the opportunity to be private entrepreneurs by winning a Three –wheel cycle (kekkeh) or a motorcycle (Okada) …’’
The first prize, the brand new three wheel Kekeh, was won by Alie Yumkella, a Sierra Leonean based abroad and only came for the holidays but was represented by his relative, while the motorcycle was won by a housewife from Kenema, Betty Bakarr.
45 consolation prizes were also distributed to winners across the country.
Presenting the 1st and 2nd prizes (Kekkeh & Motocycycle) the MD cautioned the winners to ensure safety in the use of the equipment, noting that Total Sierra Leone puts premium on safety especially on the road.
The winners thanked Total Sierra Leone for the gesture and assured the company that they will continue to call on their friends and other well-wishers to patronize their products.
Management also made a disclosure to star another promotion by March this year, with a view to continue to give back to their customers.
