City Peep is becoming disgusted by the presence of an individual in the Media branding himself as ‘Falla Barbu’.
City Peep has followed his political attacks against peaceful, decent and critical journalists in the country with no justification rather than selfish and ill-motivated reasons.
He has virtually attacked every dissenting voice against Government with venom and extra zeal to the point that he would brand journalists as paid operatives of the APC.
He has merely left his constitutional role to hold the balance and ensure balance reporting as well as safeguard media freedom.
City Peep has investigated the personality behind this Falla Barbu and has come to the conclusion that this individual is a high placed personality holding public office.
The Terms of Reference of his office has placed so much confidence on him to protect free speech and guarantee the freedom of expression of all and sundry in a democratic environment.
Thorough established procedures and guidelines he is also expected to use rules and procedures to bring to book defaulters of the said rules.
It is therefore a surprise that this high placed individual would develop such zest to suppress and intimidate people all over the place in the name of protecting his job.
We are taken aback that he could disguise under the Farla Barbu pen name to castigate genuine views against the Government and further threatened such media houses for merely bringing their views on Government’s activities.
It is our intention to warn this individual to either make himself public to fight this fight or remains quiet in his corner.
His current actions points out to conflict of Interest as far his mandate is concerned.
The actions of Farla Barbu are pointers to justifying the concerns many people had in his constituency that he is partisan and would in no way effectively hold the balance as far as managing the activities of this noble constituency .
We want to bring to your attention that you will in no way succeed to intimidate us from doing what we do best.
If you feel aggravated like you have done in your outburst in the disguise of a concern citizen, it is better to face us squarely than making empty threats in the disguise of Farla Barbu.
From hence forth we will closely follow your activities in the media with a view to expose your partisan role.
You have the option to leave the job and come into the boxing ring to fight.
