WARDFA Coaching And Administrative Courses Kick Start With Energy

In uniformity, calmness and readiness to be capacitated, over forty (40) coaches and secretaries of different clubs within the district have yesterday, Tuesday March 2nd 2021, graced the opening day of the hopefully week long training session organized by the Western Area Rural District Football Association (WARRDFA).

The Coaching and Administrative Courses were given their needful sporting parental blessings by both the Western Area Football Association (W.A.F.A.) and the Sierra Leone Football Association (S.L.F.A.).

In his opening statement, the Chairman of the Western Area Rural District Football Association, Mr. Mohamed Bello Yillah, said he was sufficiently happy to have the courses being done during his regime. He disclosed that he had to advocate soldierly for coaches and secretaries to benefit. He thanked the lead instructor, Mr. John Keister, for opting to share his knowledge with the young but incapacitated grassroots coaches in the district.

He also addressed the astute former Secretary General in praises and admiration as he referenced his stewardship as a World War difficulty to defeat and dismiss.

The Sport Committee Chairman in the Western Area Rural District Council, Counsillor Yusuf Brima Kamara, assured all participants that the Council is cognizant of the suffering of especially the coaches and referees.

He further disclosed that the Western Area Rural District Council Chairman, Kasho J. Holland- Cole, had assured the executive of the Western Area Rural District Football Association that he will ensure the Council support the forthcoming Division Two League.

The Media and Marketing Officer of the Sierra Leone Football Association admonished the trainees to sacrifice and be relentless in their efforts as there is nothing impossible. He made reference to his hardworking journey from Viascity Radio to being the Head of Media and Marketing Officer of the Sierra Leone Football Association. He encouraged all to sacrifice and pay attention more on the job rather than financial reward.

Ibrahim Kamara also admonished the Western Area Rural District Football Association Executive to keep on doing the good work as his lobbying for the district is tightly pinned to the successful pointers achieved by the executive.

The former and highly respected link of the Sierra Leone Football Association, Mr. Alimu Bah who chaired the opening session was academically swift to ‘Hussein Bolt’ the introductory session and his expertise after fully romancing the trainees mental administrative vacuum left them with huge amusement and admiration.

However, the full training session will commence today and Sierra Leone senior national team, Leone Stars, Head Coach John Keister, will practically thrill and academically marathon the coaches.
