Resident Minister East Damns Hate And Divisive Speech

Must read

The Resident Minister east, Andrew Fartomah, has damned attempts by certain unscourpolus individuals to frustrate the current efforts of authorities in Kenema to beautify the township. This was to be done by getting rid of all makeshift structures, commonly known as ‘panbody’.
It could be recalled that the Mayor of the City of Kenema, Sahr Mbayoh, have agreed together with the leadership of the traders in Kenema that all makeshift structures along the Hanga Road should be removed so as to give a facelift to the city, especially after the completion of the road.
The traders were given enough notice about the council drive and their leadership gave their blessings, the Minister noted. He expressed his frustration that quite recently when the operation to get rid of the makeshifts structures started he saw a video in the social media which had accused the leadership in Kenema of deliberately eliminating all Themne traders within the city of Kenema.
Mr. Fartomah blasted these critics and referred to the video as a hate and divisive speech, which does not resonate with the current efforts to develop the Kenema City. He stated that the makeshifts structures in Kenema belong to all tribes in the country, including Fullahs and Mendes.
The Resident Minister noted that they are determined to develop and beautify Kenema City, which, according to him, had undergone neglect for the past ten years. All tribes resident in Kenema should be proud to see the development and beautification of Kenema and warned for such distracters to stop these messages of hate and divisiveness.
