Magistrate Loyle Jusu, who presides over the Pademba Road Magistrate Court No. 7, has sent one Momoh Conteh on remand at the Male Correctional Centre, Pademba Road in Freetown, for allegedly stealing a Techno Spark 4 mobile phone, which is valued at one million five hundred thousand Leones (Le1,500,000).
The said property belongs to Fatu Kposowa (complainant). The incident took place on Sunday 18th June, 2021, at Murray Town in Freetown. When the charge was put to the accused, he pleaded guilty.
Momoh Conteh was arraigned before the court on one count of larceny, which is contrary to Section 2 of the Larceny Act of 1916.
Magistrate Jusu adjourned the matter to 30th June, 2021, for judgment.
