Military personnels Health To Be Check Properly At Prison -Judge advocate Ordered

The judge advocate at the court martial trial on Thursday 25 January 2024 together with other judges order that the Correctional facility should check the medical wellbeing of all the twenty seven accused persons who were arrainged before the court on various count charges of mutiny.

He made this order when the eighteenth accused Leutinant Corporal Abubakar Koroma during the trial raised his hand up saying that he is sick with epilepsy and his colleagues are afraid to go close to him because of his sickness.

He added that he has no medication for his sickness as he has no money.

Supported by his Lawyer I. Bangura he said at the first day of the trial he mentioned it before the court that the eighteenth accused is an epilepsy patient but he was told by the court to produce a medical report which he did not have at that time.

He said the eighteenth accused was about to be dismissed from the force because of his sickness.

Julian Cole also on behalf of the seventeen accused Sergeant Ibrahim Kamara said his client is also unwell.

  1. Kofi on behalf of the six accused Coporal Edward Koroma said his client sustain bullet wounds and cannot even move his hand.

After their submission, the judge advocate Mark Ngegba order the correctional facility to do medical check on all the accused especially those that has been complain by their lawyers
