Kanji Turay made an appearance before Magistrate Sahr Kekura of Court No. 1 at Pademba Road in Freetown on a charge of office breaking and larceny contrary to Section 26(I) of the larceny Act 1916.
The accused on Thursday, 18th July 2024, at No.5 Walpole Street in Freetown, is to have with intent to steal, broke and entered into the office of Rosaline Browne and stole herein one suffice computer valued at Eight Thousand Leones (NLe 8, 000), one HP computer valued at Four Thousand Leones (NLe 4,000), and one air conditioner fan valued at Six Hundred Leones (NLe 600) all to the total value of Twelve Thousand, Six Hundred Leones (NLe 12,600,00) property of Rosaline Browne.
A bail application was made for and on behalf of the accused which Magistrate Kekura granted in the sum of Five Hundred Leone with two Sureties. The matter was adjourned to the 9th September, 2024.
