By Ragan M. Conteh

The former Vice President of Sierra Leone, Chief Samuel Sam Sumana, has urged residents of Kent village, Constituency 110, in the Western Rural District, to massively vote for Khadijatu Davies and as well protect their votes.

Chief Sam Sumana made the disclosure on Wednesday 9th December 2020 during the final days of the All People’s Congress (APC) campaign in Constituency 110.

According to him, the SLPP wants to strengthen the reason they conducted elections three times, informing that the SLPP always banks on rigging elections and violence, adding that the people of Kent should give the SLPP a run for their money.

Sam Sumana pointed out that Kent people should not sell their vote for microcredit. He further revealed that the APC has been a good party for the people of Sierra Leone, adding that most of the developments, the SLPP are enjoying today, are legacies of the APC and that people should stand firm to ensure that Hon. Khadijatu Davies wins the elections again.

“Honestly I have no doubt on the people of Kent in terms of voting for the APC. You are always APC and I believe the vote of your party, before now, will double that percentage.  Don’t be fooled, all the microcredit promises they made to you are fake,” he said.

Sam Sumana intimated that Khadijatu Davies has her people at heart. She is a lovely mother that does not want her people to live in difficulties. He urged them to work towards their community benefits by voting a God-fearing mother like Hon. Davies.

“How can they say, after voting for them, they will give you microcredit? This is a sign of bad leadership. Please don’t ‘trust’ your vote; they will not honor their obligations. All are fake promises,” Sam Sumana asserted.

“I am very much concerned why an election can be conducted thrice. Is it not because of a hidden agenda?” Former Vice President asked.

Chief Sam Sumana pointed out that the people should not relent; they should be vigilant after voting Hon. Kadie Davies on Saturday. Chief Sumana is very much passionate and shows solidarity and love for the total victory of Khadijatu Davies come Saturday.

The demonstration showed to us, according to the Chief of Kent, a clear indication of leadership qualities and hard work to ensure that he revived the missing link that resulted to the woeful loss of the APC in the 2018 elections.

According to the Chief and youths of Kent, the APC is responsible for most of the development in their community. He revealed that the visit of the former Vice President, Chief Sumana, at Kent, makes them happy and feel a sense of belonging.

In a similar vein, Dr. Samura Kamara, Alimamy Peitito, Dr. Richard Conteh, Dina Konomanyi, Chernoh Maju Bah and host of other APC strong tycoons also divided themselves to help boost the APC’s final campaign at Constituency 110.

The APC teams were very anxious and ready to reclaim their seat. Tens of thousands of community people welcomed the entourage of APC tycoons to the house-to-house campaign. They were all assured of retaining the seat for the APC.
