Orange Sierra Leone has on Monday launched their Christmas bonanza in a grand style at their shop at Rawdon Street in the heart of the capital, Freetown.
The occasion was witnessed by a cross-section of Executive Officers and Directors of Orange Sierra Leone including Amanita Kane, Chief Executive Officer.
Orange CEO while delivering a speech at the ceremony noted that in May and June 2019, the company gave customers the opportunity to have food items for a day, the month and 1 year supply for six customers plus Le 25 million chop money in the Company’s Ramadan promotion.
Madam Kane also recounted that even though the period of Christmas is time to celebrate with family and friends, a time for fun and merriment but that it is also a time of reflection on how the company has impacted on individuals, families and communities.
Orange, the CEO says, has continued to be innovative and resilient in brining to its customers affordable voice and data offers.

‘’We reduced twice the price of internet as part of our Digital Revolution Strategy,’’ she noted.
Madam Kane also highlighted that the company has been able to increase its footprint on Orange Money with over 650,000 customers, making it the highest financial hub in the country.
On CSR, Orange Sierra Leone, according to Madam Kane, has touched the lives of students, women, youths and young girls.
She emphasized that this year they want to also touch the lives of over 450 households with opportunities to be financially sustainable.
The iron lady noted that this year’s Christmas campaign has been influenced after wider consultations with subscribers and customers in Makeni, Kabala, Moyamba, Mile 38, Tombo and Wellington.
The consultations, according to her, had also included nurses, students, Okada riders etc. and that the feedbacks from those consultations culminated into the development of what she described as ‘an exciting campaign’ to close the year.
Against this backdrop she announced that Orange Sierra Leone, effective yesterday, is launching the Campaign Chacha where she disclosed six customers will win a business of their choice worth 75 million Leones and also 420 other customers will win cash prizes worth over four hundred million Leones.
Orange Sierra Leone will continue, according to her, to meaningfully impact the lives of their customers with affordable offers and give back to Sierra Leoneans in various sectors.
Betty Mason, Manager for the Rawdon Street Shop, earlier on welcomed members of the senior executive of Orange Sierra Leone to the ceremony and thanked all for the splendid support to the Company in 2019.
Members of the Orange Marketing Team spoke on how customers would win the Chacha business, noting that they will only need to top up Le1,000 and then be liable to win the prize of Le 75 million in which a business of their choice will be registered and stocked on their behalf.
