Amadu Mansaray, a security guard made his first appearance before Magistrate John Manson Fornah of Pademba Road Court No. 2 in Freetown for allegedly stealing one desktop computer from one of the offices the Christian Action Church.
Mansaray is arraigned before the court on a count charge of office breaking and larceny contrary to Section 20 (1) of the Larceny Act of 1916.
Police allege that Mansaray on 18th June, 2025 at the Christian Action Church in Freetown, with intent to steal broke and entered into the office of Pastor Fodie Kanneh and stole one desktop computer valued at Eight Thousand, Five Hundred New Leones (NLe 8, 500) property of Pastor Fodie Kanneh.
When the charge was read and explained to the accused person no plea was taken before the court.
The Prosecutor, Assistant Superintendent of Police, Isatu Baba Musa sought for a short adjournment indicating that the prosecution witnesses are absent in court.
Magistrate Fornah refused bail and ordered that the accused be remanded in custody until the adjourned date of 1st July, 2025 for hearing.
