Former Sierra Leone People’s Party (SLPP) parliamentary aspirant, Josephine Jackson on Wednesday, August 26, 2026, brought four individuals before the court over allegations that included cyber-stalking, threatening language, malicious damage and trespass.
The four accused persons are Malorka Conteh, Master Christopher, Pastor Luwanba and Master Aruna.
They are facing five counts of conspiracy contrary to law; malicious damage contrary to Section 51 of the Malicious Damage Act 1861; cyber-stalking and bullying contrary to Section 44(1)(a) and (b) of the Cyber Security and Crime Act 2021; threatening language contrary to Section 3 of the Public Order Act No. 46 of 1965; and trespass contrary to Section 15(1)(a) of the same Act.
According to the particulars of the charges, the accused persons allegedly, on Monday, August 3, 2026, at No. 2 River, Western Area, Freetown, conspired together to commit a felony, namely malicious damage.
The indictment further alleges that the accused persons maliciously damaged a perimeter wall fence valued at Le 200,000, said to be the property of the complainant, Josephine Jackson.
The prosecution also alleges that the accused persons willfully and repeatedly used mobile phones to bully and threaten Jackson, allegedly telling her: “Whenever we see you one on one, we go kill you instantly.”
The prosecution claims that the alleged threats caused Jackson apprehension and fear of violence. The accused persons are also alleged to have used threatening language, including “Ar Go Kill U,” with the intent to provoke her to commit a breach of the peace.
The indictment further alleges that the accused persons unlawfully entered Jackson’s premises in an annoying manner after being warned to desist.
Meanwhile, all four accused persons were absent in court when the matter was called.
Prosecuting Counsel, Jessie M. Jengo as a consequence, applied for bench warrants to be issued against all four defendants.
The Prosecutor told the court that the accused persons have failed to appear despite an affidavit of service having been filed with the District Attorney’s (D.A’s) Office, indicating that they had been duly served with the court process.
He argued that the conspicuous absence of all the defendants demonstrated a lack of respect for the court and urged the Magistrate to issue bench warrants for their arrest.
Magistrate Mustapha Brima Jah granted the Prosecutor’s application and ordered that bench warrants be issued against all four defendants. The matter was adjourned to September 2, 2026.
