NOC/CGA-SLE Begins TAFISA Leadership Training Today

The National Olympic Committee and Commonwealth Games Association of Sierra Leone (NOC/CGA-SL) today, Wednesday, July 8, begins its four-day TAFISA Certified Leadership Training – Level 1 at the OlympAfrica Centre in Goderich, Freetown.

The internationally recognized programme, which runs until July 11, is designed to strengthen the leadership and management capacity of sports administrators, executives and emerging leaders across Sierra Leone. Participants will receive practical training in leadership, governance, strategic planning, communication, team management and organizational development.

Organized in partnership with TAFISA, the course aims to promote professionalism, accountability and good governance within National Sports Associations while equipping participants with the skills needed to effectively manage sports organizations and support long-term development.

Upon successful completion of the Level 1 course, participants will qualify for the advanced Level 2 programme, which focuses on strategic leadership and organizational transformation.

The initiative underscores NOC/CGA-SL’s commitment to building a new generation of competent sports leaders and advancing international standards in sports administration, governance and the Olympic values of excellence, friendship and respect throughout Sierra Leone.
