SHORKI LOVE Promo… Orange SL Hands Over Four Cars To Winners

Four brand new cars have been presented to four lucky winners of SHORKI LOVE promotion organised by the biggest and leading telecoms company, Orange Sierra Leone. The vehicles in total were five, but one had been offered to a winner in the eastern headquaters of Kenema.

Under the SHORKI LOVE Promo, Orange Sierra Leone customers who regularly use Orange services such as Orange Money, top-up vouchers, purchase data, send in and cash out money through Orange Money enjoy a high chance to win. The presentation ceremony took place yesterday at the Orange Sierra Leone headquaters at Hill Station in Freetown. The lucky winners were elated and thrilled for words.

One of the winners, Ishmail Conteh is the President of Njala University Students Union Government.

In a show of ecstasy, Conteh said he was on the verge of purchasing a car after he had completed a driving course few months ago. The Njala Students Union President told the press that he never knew he was going to be a lucky winner.

“I was told by one of my relatives that I have won a car. Upon such information, I immediately ran to the television and saw my number,” he narrated.

He made this statement while he was comfortably seated in his brand new car happy for a dream come true.

Another winner, Augustine Tucker, an employee of the housing and mortgaging company also expressed similar sentiments. He was very appreciative of Orange Sierra Leone for such a wonderful gift. Tucker was the last to get into his own vehicle for testing.

Piled in a straight line at Hill Station, the lucky winners leaned on their vehicles, and posed for the press. One of Orange Sierra Leone’s officials said the company is there to make people happy.

“Orange Sierra Leone does not care who you are in the award of the prizes. You get the car as long as you are a winner,” she said.

Other Orange Money customers who were unfortunate to win the vehicles also got fantastic cash prizes running into millions of Leones. Speaking at the handing over ceremony, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) for Orange Money congratulated the winners.

The CEO was very much excited for what he saw, and shared the joy with the winners. Mr Mansaray sounded hopeful that the lucky winners would spread the good news and encouraged others to come forward.

“You [winners] will continue to be the ambassadors of Orange Sierra Leone,” he said.

The Orange Money CEO hopes that the vehicles would make a big difference in the lives of the winners. The SHORKI LOVE promotion started in October, the previous year and ended in January, this year with five cars and the sum of Le3, 000, 000, 000 (Three Billion Leones) up for grabs.

The five cars and the said sum is now in the hands of winners. The final draw ended with the last lucky winner, Augustine Tucker. The promotion caters for all classes of people including businessmen and traders, and has gone a long way in improving the lives of Orange Money customers. More Prizes have been promised to come in the near future.

The SHORKI LOVE draw used to be broadcast live on the country’s public broadcaster, the Sierra Leone Broadcasting Corporation and the private TV station, Star TV.

Its essence is to create excitement among Orange Sierra Leone lucky winners The SHORKI LOVE Promo is conducted on a free and fair basis devoid of discrimination.

Form the start of the Programme, the previous year, Orange Sierra Leone winners have always been shocked with beautiful prizes.

The programme used to run from Monday to Friday as well as Saturday. Although the SHORKI LOVE draw has ended yesterday after the prizes were presented to the winners, Orange Sierra Leone may come up with other draws in the future.
